EKazunori Ozaki , Chairman & CEO
Kazunori Ozaki started his business career at Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries (IHI) before joining Japan Associated Finance (now JAFCO). As a Member of JAFCOfs Board of Directors, he held positions as head of the International Investment Division and head of the Management Buy-Out (MBO) Investment Division, focusing on domestic MBOs since 1998. In 1999, he joined GE Capital as Senior Vice President to contribute to start an investment division for private equity in Japan and established a joint private equity fund of USD 200 million with Japanese business partners. In 2001, antfactory Japan, now Ant Capital Partners, invited him to start its private equity investment business. He has been the Director of Japan Venture Capital Association (JVCA) since 2004 and Vice Chairman since July 2011. He also has been the Director of the Japan Private Equity Association since 2005. B.A. in Economics from Sophia University.
EHiroshi Takashima CFA , Executive Vice President
Hiroshi Takashima started his career in 1984 at the Norinchukin Bank. He was assigned to Singapore Branch in 1996 and Norinchukin International in 2003. After subsequently taking positions as a Credit Manager of Credit Risk Management Division, a Joint General Manager at the task force for Basel implementation and a Joint General Manager of Risk Management Division, he was the General Manager of London Branch from 2008. He joined Ant Capital Partners as the Executive Vice President in July 2011. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Kyoto University and an M.S.I.A. from the Carnegie Mellon University at Graduate School of Industrial Administration.
ETomoyuki Imaizumi, Director/Managing Partner, Private Equity Investment Group
Currently he serves as executive officer of Honma Golf, director of Muginoho Holdings and corporate auditor of Aunt Stellafs. He oversees due diligence for new and follow-on investment projects and post-acquisition management administration including HR, IT and budget reporting system. Prior to antfactory(now Ant Capital Partners), he worked at Transcosmos Inc. from 2000 to 2003, where he was in charge of management administration for strategic affiliates, development of business plans, execution of corporate restructuring, due diligence and IPO preparation. He has served as corporate auditor at eight corporations, including two publicly listed companies. He started career in 1992 at Ohta Showa Audit Corporation (now Shin Nihon Audit Corporation, the Japanese affiliate of Ernst & Young). He graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Business and Commerce. He is a registered certified public accountant.
ERyosuke Iinuma, Managing Partner, Private Equity Investment Group
Ryosuke Iinuma started his career in 1994 with a position in the Technology Division of Mitsubishi Corp., in charge of market development in Japan for foreign software vendors and distributors. He joined antfactory (now Ant Capital Partners) in August 2001, and played a key role in the acquisition of Wit Capital Japan. In the portfolio of Catalyzer series of funds, he was involved with investment and hands-on support in the area of corporate management and business strategy for CAA, Golf Partner, MoonStar and Miyano Machinery. He graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Business Commerce.
EKenichi Ueda, Managing Partner, Private Equity Investment Group
Kenichi Ueda started his career at Recruit where he was Planning Manager in Management Administration Division. In 2000, he took a position as Vice President of Wit Capital Japan where he was involved with M&A advisory services and corporate strategic consulting for automobile manufacture and distributors. Through the acquisition of Wit Capital by antfactory, he joined Private Equity Investment Team and worked with investment and hands-on supports in CAA, Activision and Tokyo Servicers Inc (TSI). He graduated in Economics from Kyoto University.
EReijiro Samura, Managing Partner, Secondary Investment Group
Prior to joining Nikko antfactory(now Ant Capital Partners) in 2005, he was a chief manager of Credit Products Investment Group at the then Mitsubishi Trust and Banking Corporation where he handled alternative investments including private equities and hedge funds. His previous experiences also included corporate finance, air craft finance and import finance at the Export-Import Bank of Japan and WestLB Asset Management (U.S.A) LLC. He holds a BS in Economics from Osaka University, Japan.
EShunsa Hayashi, Managing Partner, Secondary Investment Group
Shunsa Hayashi joined the former Industrial Bank of Japan (now Mizuho Corporate Bank), where he worked as in Fixed income and Corporate Banking, and held a position served as director in charge of Singapore-incorporate company Director of the FIBJ Merchant Bank in Singapore and as assistant to the director of the No.2 International Marketing Division. He subsequently took positions at then spent time with the McKinsey & Company in Japan and Taiwan, branches of McKinsey & Company, and then was later worked for Trend Micro as Vice President in charge of New Operations at Trend Micro. After a stint as head of EMC Corporation Japanfs Venture Leasing Manager venture lease department, he joined Nikko antfactory, now Ant Capital Partners, where he has been in his current position since 2001. He holds a M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeleyfs Haas Graduate School of Business,.
EToru Tanimoto, Managing Partner, Venture Capital Investment Group
Toru Tanimoto held positions as section head for Offshore Investment and general manager for Domestic Investment at the former Japan Associated Nihon Godo Finance, now JAFCO, before joining Nikko antfactoryfs(now Ant Capital Partnersf) Venture Capital Investment Group in 2003. He has been in his current position since 2005, in charge of investment and support to portfolio companies with the focus on IT and electronics sectors. Listed portfolio companies include ValueClickJapan, Monex Inc., North, etc. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Keio University, and. He is a chartered member of the Security Analysts Association of Japan.
ETadashi Takashina, Managing Partner, Venture Capital Investment Group
He started his career in 1990 at Yamaha Motor. Prior to joining Nikko antfactory(now Ant Capital Partners) in 2003, he was in charge of establishing corporate VC fund at Casio Computer US R&D Center, and he involved in evaluation of technology and companies in the communications and applications sector at KDDI US Research Center. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Tohoku University, and an MBA from San Jose State University.
EMikio Sato, Managing Partner, Venture Capital Investment Group
Mikio Sato started his career at Lion in 1987 and engaged in basic research at the Central Research Center. In 1990, He joined Nikko Cordial Securities and transferred to Nikko Capital, now Ant Capital Partners. He has rich experience for 18 years in IT and bio areas at Investment Screening Division. He involved in IPO of over 20 companies including Game-on, Immuno-Biological Laboratories. He holds a master's degree in Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan University.
EAyako Tani, Managing Partner, Fund Management Group
Ayako Tani started her business career at Japan Associated Finance (now JAFCO). At Jafco-Ven, subsidiary of JAFCO, she had experience in general fund management and fund administration, ex. accounting practice, reporting, database management of portfolio companies. Now, she is in charge of Corporate Development and Administration, and the president of Fund Management Service K.K. She graduated from Japan Womenfs University.
